Whether I’m driving home from work on a summer evening or taking the train accross the Sydney Harbour Bridge there is always something that makes my head turn and stare. The sunset. I think it is fascinating, it is romantic, it somehow wipes away the worries and makes you forget what a bad day you’ve had. That’s probably why I keep staring, it’s hypnotic and soothing. If you’ve had a good day it seems even more spectacular and it makes you feel good to be alive.
Due to my work schedule, sunrises are a rarity to me but no less beautiful in its own way.
Watching the sun set over the horizon can sometimes be a time for reflection, about your day, your week, month or even your entire life.
