The progress on our build site can only be described as “steady” due to the rain, materials and contractor delays. But overall, despite all the challenges and frustrations we are glad that our home is getting built. In comparison, a number of builds I have been following on Instagram have experienced more lengthy delays of not just days or weeks but months and I do feel for those families having to go through that.
April brought us the delivery of the lower frames, 1st floor frames, steel beams, windows and bricks. We’ve made our second progress payments for the slab and the frames and waiting on the bricklayers to do their thing.
