I must have been really tired and was not in the state of mind to think about my financial obligations because as of last night I’ve put through an order for a Dell Inspiron 6400 for $1670 with an extra battery. Well I must have thought about it that far because I purchased an extra battery. It will probably be at my house around the end of March so until then I’m not going to really know if it was a good buy…
On paper this new notebook looks like a great value for its price. It’s not a “desktop killer” but I didnt want that in the first place, I didn’t want to buy a laptop and have absolutely not use for the desktop which I spent almost $3000 on. I want to be able to support multiple applications at once – I use Dreamweaver, Photoshop and will be running Coldfusion 7 at the same time so I wanted to make sure I had enough processing power to sustain my multi-tasking adventures.
